May 5th - Dartmouth UK
Good news Bob did find his way back to the suite last night, no idea when but he was here when i awoke! We awoke to the lovely sound of rain on the balcony. But now the rain has stopped and the sun is doing his best to fight through the clouds.
We are off to the trip described below, and yes we have on waterproof pants this time as there can never be another Cambridge!
Weather says around 12 so layers are called for and yes the complementary jackets, without liners, will be worn.

I i will say I had not idea what this cruise would like, you all know I like to plan but… today was not what I thought my life would be like for the next 14 days. But it was great and I look forward to the next.
WWe headed out this morning in a light rain onto the zodiac boat for a quick ride to the dock to catch our ferry. What a great day and wonderful trip. Yes it did our rain and yes it was muddy but wow. I know more pics of plant and trees but…
The house was lovely but the gardens were wonderful. It hurt my soul to hear fellow travellers say “ why is she taking a picture of that it is just a tree.” Well some trees and I will say all trees are breathtaking.
Back in town we had a bevy with a couple we have met, at the oldest pub in town.
The most wonderful part was how excited the town was to have the ship in port. In our red jackets locals asked us questions about the ship etc and we were glad to help out. As we left the port, the town showed up to wave us on and it was vey moving to hear kids calling out to us as we headed out. Bob and I stood on our balcony to wave back and shout out to kids how were calling to us. They get ships only once our twice a year.
Dinner was wonderful, I do the blog as Bob heads to the bar for a whiskey.
S Ship had bit of a roll so who knows if he will make it back.
