May 9th - Girvan Scotland

CULZEAN CASTLE & COUNTRY PARK Girvan, Scotland

Culzean Castle was constructed by order of the 10th Earl of Cassilis. The Castle was built between 1777 and 1792.

Enjoy a guided tour inside the castle and free time to explore the various self-guided walking trails, walled gardens, visitor centre, swan pond and cafes.

Yes we went to a castle and saw stuff but more importantly Janice you will know our joy.  We won trivia against a team with 9 people, a cruise no-no.  We had 3 Canadians on our team so a ringer of a team.  Plus a couple that have done over 50 cruises.  We crushed the other team.  Bob even spilled his beer celebrating.   Off to dinner so will do the rest later.

Okay back from dinner, were first ones seated so got table by the window but sadly no dolphin sightings but sat beside a lovely couple from London so nice night.

Okay back to castle… won’t bore you with new pics of flowers and trees, Bob says this year’s focus for me is trees…he might be right.

Opps   Off to bed as we have a 7am leaving time to see the Giant causeway.  Love to you all.
